and wearing some of the clothes that we loved to dress Savvy in, like this dress my parents bought for Savannah in Thailand back in 2007.
She is reaching so many stages and milestones that I remember Savvy hitting. With Savvy I remember thinking it took forever to reach them, but with Ella they seem to rush at us in spades.
Savannah continues to grow as well. We enjoy the funny things that she says.
She has started saying the blessing on the food sometimes at dinner time all by herself. Last night when she said the blessing, she proceeded to list out every item on the table, including the plates and silverware, before actually blessing the meal. It was too funny! I wonder what thought process prompted that list?
Lately I've blinked and a month is gone. I'm glad that I chose "Live" as my theme word this year. It helps me remember to live in the moment and appreciate those moments. I'm not perfect, but I'm definitely trying to worry about things less and enjoy my moments with my family more.

You're doing a great job, Rachael. And just to warn you, time isn't just going faster, it's accelerating and it never seems to level off. Enjoy every minute.
My goodness, how big they've both gotten! Nice to see everything's going so well.
Ah, what a cute post! They do grow up so fast. I love how Savvy gave her nursery leader a hug, so sweet! And saying the blessing on the food is always a great moment! I loved when Caleb said the blessing. I'm so sad that he's in a rebellious stage now and refuses, telling which one of us needs to say the prayer! Love the picture of Ella in her Thailand outfit!
It will be nice when AJ can talk more. It's fun to look at Savvy and think, that will be AJ next year at this time!
Rachael, I'm glad you are feeling better.. You are right, the girls are growing at a fantastic pace but that's a good thing. That's because they are so smart, and their little minds would become stagnant otherwise. Isn't it wonderful to see the learning taking place on a day by day basis. They are like little sponges soaking everything in. I miss out being so far away. They are gorgeous sweet girls. You are right we all need to enjoy the moment more and stop to smell the roses a lot more often. I wish Savvy could wrap her arms around my legs now and give me a hug. Kiss them for me.
