Poor Ella!
If you'll recall, Ella got sick a few weeks back (starting with an ear infection, nasal congestion and teething). Well, 2.5 weeks later and she is STILL sick. I ended up taking her back in to see her pediatrician yesterday. We thought she was getting better, but then this past Wednesday things started to flare up again. Ella started running a fever again and throwing up. Finally, after she basically didn't sleep Wednesday or Thursday night (ok, she slept, but no longer than 20 minutes at a time), I took her back in yesterday. They ended up putting a urine bag on her and we had to sit there and wait for her to pee. TWO AND A HALF HOURS LATER she finally did. They've sent it in to be cultured, but they're thinking she has a bladder infection because there was blood in her urine. They ended up giving her an antibiotic shot and started her on a THIRD COURSE of antibiotics.

Poor Ella bug! Bladder infections aren't fun as an adult, so I don't think they;d be any easier on a baby. Anything I can do? Love ya all!
Oh man! I hope she gets better soon! I guess when it rains it pours. I hope you are all getting some sleep at your house soon.
My poor baby Ella. I've had one bladder infection in my life and I thought I was going to die. How painful for Ella. Is she doing better? I see she discovered how her knees can help her get around. better. I loved your poem "Better or Bitter". Tell Savvy she can hang out in my shoes anytime. I love my girls. Kiss em for me.
Wow, so sad for Ella! I sure hope she is on the mend by now. Meanwhile how are the rest of you holding up? That must be hard on everyone. Wow, no sleep either, poor thing! I'm so so sorry!
