Yesterday was a wonderful day. Nathan and I celebrated our 7 year anniversary (holy cow, is that even possible?), AND we blessed Ella at church--DOUBLE WONDERFUL! Nathan did a beautiful job on the blessing and Ella slept through the whole thing (unlike her older sister who threw a fit through all of hers).

Ella wore the same blessing dress that Savannah did when she was blessed. The dress is a very special one. This year it is 108 years old. The first wearer was my great-grandmother Tutu, who was born in 1901. My grandmother also wore it, and then I wore it!

Can you believe that Tutu was just 80 the year you were born, and Grandma Cannon was only 55? I love these pictures!
That is so special that you have that dress that has been worn by so many in the family and that goes back so far! Ella is beautiful! It was great to see you on Sunday!
Congratulations! What a beautiful family. I can't wait to see you all. What a neat story to have along with the blessing!
I'm sure the blessing was beautiful, what a neat tradition with the blessing dress, it's beautiful as well!
