Important things seem to slip the cracks occasionally when you are trying to recover some semblance of normal brain function after suffering from Placenta Brain for so long. However the thing that I've let slip most recently may be unforgivable. February 5th was
World Nutella Day and I missed it.

I realize that this is even more unforgivable in light of the fact that this is a very special day for Ella, as her name is embedded in the Nutella name. I'm repenting now and heading for the jar of nutella in the cupboard with spoon in hand . . . . Sorry Ella, better late than never!

What do you like to put your Nutella on? I know it's great to eat with a spoon, but ...
I like the idea of having a "theme food." This can be Ella's. Maybe Savvy's can be onigiri.
Angie-- Anything and everything! My favorite pairing is probably Nutella and bananas on crepes. I also love toasted cinnamon raisin bread with a healthy dose of Nutella. Then there are all the yummy things that can be made with Nutella, like this: http://tartelette.blogspot.com/2007/02/creme-au-nutella-and-macarons.html I highly recommend the recipe for Creme au Nutella--pure decadence. :-)
Mom (Judy)-- Savvy's would definitely be onigiri!
Matthew's theme food would be onigiri as well! :) He just had some for lunch...
I think I'll celebrate with you and Ella and go have some Nutella - I like mine with cream cheese on fresh bread.
