Nate has been more than a little busy as well. The weekend before last he was in Boston working through the weekend helping out with some bilingual interviews (English/Japanese) that needed to be done. Every day during the week he's in a different city visiting a client--poor guy doesn't get to rest! We're very glad that he's driving a hybrid, because boy is he putting miles on that thing!
Savannah continues to make our lives fun. A few days ago I bought a plastic storage bin to store Halloween costumes in. I had brought it in from the car and it was sitting in our family room waiting to be filled. I turned my back on Savannah to unload the dishwasher and when I turned back around she had filled the bin with some of her favorite things and a blanket and was lounging in the bin like it was a bath tub.
I finally moved and filled the bin this morning while she was asleep, but I didn't have the heart to take it away from her before that because she was enjoying it so much. Maybe we'll buy her one for Christmas.Because I'm feeling particularly uninteresting, I'll leave you with something way more fun--a series of photos I took of Savannah. When I took the first one she didn't have any idea I was there. You can see as the photos progress that she's starting to be a bit more clued in to what I'm doing.

Ahh... She is SO cute. I remember her mama loving to play in the laundry basket. (Sniff.)
Love that shirt!
Savannah IS a cutie.
The line that grabbed me, however, was "Tomorrow I giving another presentation for MBK Homes on the topic of Japanese Gracious Hospitality..."
ANOTHER presentation??? When was the first? Did I miss a blog post? :( Good luck tomorrow! Please write about your presentation. :)
I can just see you in Primary near the end of your pregnancy, directing the children as they sing Hymn #19 "... and we know that deliverance is nigh ..."
Love ya, Rachael!
I couldn't believe it when Nathan said you got the calling of primary chorister, crazy! It wouldn't be so crazy if you weren't 7 months pregnant-- but you are! I hope the presentation goes well tomorrow, how fun to be able to talk about something you love! You'll do great!
Primary Chorister??? I hope your ward's Primary Program has already happened!
So I'm not sure if I'm getting the full picture of these presentations. Is there a particular reason why they focus on Japanese stuff? I guess I'm still confused. Sounds cool though. Makes me want to test out your gracious hospitality sometime :)
If Nate ever needs to do a trip to Illinois be sure to go with him and then let us know because I want to see you all! It's been too long!
